Erin Clemens is a Morgantown native who is completing a double major in International Studies and English, and a double minor in Native American Studies and Chinese Studies. Erin is president of two student organizations, ONAI (Organization for Native American Interests) and FOL (Friends of Literacy), in addition to serving as public relations officer of the Chinese Club. Erin is Head Singer with the Native American teaching drum, the ONAI Singers. Erin is also the Art Editor and Website Design Editor for the 2009 issue of Calliope, the WVU undergraduate literature and art journal. In addition to her studies, Erin is an award-winning poet, photographer and multimedia artist whose works have appeared in local and national galleries, exhibitions, symposiums and colloquiums. When she isn’t engaged in collegiate or creative endeavors, Erin volunteers for Monongalia County Literacy Volunteers, leading an advanced ESL conversation group and serving on their Board of Directors. Erin has previously blogged for WVU’s Blogging From Abroad during her 2008 summer exchange in China.
